The Littelfuse DK015L is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for general-purpose and phase control applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 1000V and an average forward current of 9.5A at a case temperature of 90°C. The forward voltage is 1.6V maximum at 9.5A, and the reverse recovery time is typically 4 µs. The diode can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 225A at 60Hz and 188A at 50Hz.
This device is part of the Dxx15L series and is suitable for AC to DC rectification in industrial power tools, exercise equipment, white goods, and commercial appliances. The isolated mounting tab allows for easy heat sinking in circuits with common anode or common cathode connections. The operating junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, and storage temperature range is -40°C to 150°C.
The DK015L is packaged in a TO-220-3 isolated tab, through-hole mounting package. It is RoHS compliant and features glass-passivated junctions for reliability. The thermal resistance from junction to case is 2.6°C/W, aiding in thermal management.
