The DK-20789 is a development kit for the ICM-20789 7-axis motion sensor from InvenSense. It combines a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and a pressure sensor. The platform is built around a Microchip G55 MCU with 512KB flash memory and includes an on-board embedded debugger, eliminating the need for external tools. The kit supports I²C and SPI interfaces for host communication and is powered via USB.
Key features include sensor fusion, accelerometer and gyroscope calibration, and support for Android functions such as Game Rotation Vector, Gravity, and Linear Acceleration. The ICM-20789 offers selectable full-scale ranges: accelerometer ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, ±16g; gyroscope ±250°/s, ±500°/s, ±1000°/s, ±2000°/s. The development kit comes with InvenSense MotionLink GUI software and embedded Motion Drivers for rapid evaluation.
