It supports selectable recovered system clocks at 128 fS, 256 fS, 384 fS, and 512 fS. The serial audio data output formats include 24-Bit I²S, MSB-First 24-Bit Left-Justified, and MSB-First 16/24-Bit Right-Justified. User data and channel-status data outputs are synchronized with the decoded serial audio data.

 

Designed for flexibility, the DIR9001PWR operates on a single 3.3V power supply (2.7V to 3.6V) and features 5V-tolerant digital inputs. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device includes an actual sampling frequency calculator, which requires an external 24.576-MHz clock. Function control is handled via a parallel (hardware) interface.

 

Packaged in a 28-pin TSSOP with a 0.65 mm pin pitch, the DIR9001PWR is suitable for surface mount applications. Its functions and pin assignments are similar to the DIR1703. This receiver is well-suited for applications such as automotive audio, consumer audio, and musical instruments.
