DG408CY Description

The DG408CY is an improved, 8-channel CMOS analog multiplexer from Maxim Integrated, designed as a pin-compatible upgrade for industry-standard parts. It features guaranteed matching between channels (8Ω max) and flatness over the signal range (9Ω max). This low on-resistance multiplexer has a maximum on-resistance of 100Ω and conducts equally well in either direction.

 

Key electrical characteristics include guaranteed low charge injection (15pC max) and low input off-leakage current (less than 5nA at +85±C). The DG408CY operates with a single supply from +5V to +30V or dual supplies from ±5V to ±20V. It offers rail-to-rail signal handling and TTL/CMOS compatible digital input controls.

 

This device is available in a 16-SOIC package and is surface-mounted. ESD protection is guaranteed to be greater than 2000V per Method 3015.7 of MIL-STD-883. Applications include sample-and-hold circuits, test equipment, guidance and control systems, data-acquisition systems, and audio signal routing.
