The DFLZ16-7 is a 16V Zener diode from Diodes Incorporated designed for voltage regulation and protection applications. It offers a nominal Zener voltage of 16V with a tolerance of ±6%, and a maximum power dissipation of 1W when mounted on standard FR-4 PCB. The diode features a low impedance of 15Ω at the test current, ensuring stable voltage regulation.
With a forward voltage of 1.2V typical at 200mA, the DFLZ16-7 also provides standard rectification capability. The reverse leakage current is limited to 1μA at 12V reverse voltage, contributing to low power loss in standby conditions. The device operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to 150°C, suitable for harsh environments.
The DFLZ16-7 is packaged in the space-saving PowerDI123 surface mount package, which offers excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 110°C/W and junction-to-soldering point thermal resistance of 9°C/W. The package is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). The termination finish is matte tin annealed over copper leadframe, ensuring solderability per MIL-STD-202. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel.
