The DFLT24A-7 is a 225W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor diode designed for general-purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24V and a maximum clamping voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 5.78A (10/1000µs waveform). The device also provides a higher surge capability of 1125W under an 8/20µs waveform and a peak forward surge current of 50A (8.3ms half sine wave).
This TVS diode is housed in a PowerDI123 surface-mount package with a molded plastic, green molding compound case. It features matte tin annealed over copper leadframe terminals and is rated for an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen and antimony free.
Typical applications include overvoltage protection in power lines, data lines, and other sensitive circuits where fast response and high surge capability are required. The unidirectional configuration makes it suitable for DC voltage rail protection.
