The DFLT22A-7 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 22V and a clamping voltage of 35.5V at a peak pulse current of 6.34A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle 225W of peak pulse power under the same conditions, and 1125W under 8/20µs waveform.
The diode offers a forward surge current capability of 50A (8.3ms) and a forward voltage of 3.5V at 12A. It operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 125°C/W and to soldering point is 6°C/W.
The DFLT22A-7 is housed in a PowerDI 123 surface mount package, with matte tin termination finish and molded plastic case material (UL 94V-0). It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has MSL level 1 (unlimited). The part is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel.
