DFLT15A-7 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It has a 15V reverse standoff voltage and clamps transient overvoltages to a maximum of 24.4V. Under a 10/1000µs pulse, the device conducts a peak pulse current of 9.22A and dissipates 225W of peak pulse power; under an 8/20µs pulse, peak pulse power is 1125W.
The diode supports general purpose circuit protection applications and is rated for a peak forward surge current of 50A. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and has a DC steady-state power dissipation of 1.0W.
The DFLT15A-7 is housed in a PowerDI 123 surface mount package with matte tin annealed terminals and molded green plastic case. The package meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating and MSL 1 moisture sensitivity. The device is lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant per the manufacturer datasheet.
