The DFLS230-7 is a Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low power loss and high efficiency. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30V and an average forward current of 2A at +120°C. The forward voltage is typically 0.49V at 2A, minimizing conduction losses. The device can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 40A for 8.3ms, making it robust for transient conditions.
Typical applications include polarity protection, recirculating diodes, and switching diodes. The rectifier is housed in a surface mount PowerDI 123 package, which is UL 94V-0 rated and weighs approximately 0.01 grams. The terminals are matte tin annealed over a copper leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208.
The DFLS230-7 is fully RoHS 3 compliant, totally lead-free, and halogen and antimony free (green device). It is moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020 and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
