The DF9B-31S-1V(20) is a 31-position board-to-board receptacle from Hirose Electric's DF9 series. It features a 1.00mm pitch, 2-row configuration, and surface mount termination, making it suitable for compact mezzanine stacking applications with a mated stacking height of 4.3mm. The connector is compliant with the VESA FPDI-1 standard for flat panel display interfaces and includes an easy lock mechanism for secure mating and a trapezoidal structure to prevent mis-insertion.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 0.5A per contact and a voltage rating of 150V AC. Contact resistance is maximum 50mΩ, and insulation resistance is minimum 500MΩ at 100V DC. The connector can operate over a temperature range of -45°C to +125°C and withstands 250V AC for 1 minute without flashover.
Contacts are made of phosphor copper with a tin finish, and the insulator is polyamide rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The design also includes solder retention features for reliable PCB mounting.
