The DF63-5P-3.96DSA is a 5-position, single-row, through-hole header from Hirose Electric's DF63 series of wire-to-board connectors. It features a 3.96mm pitch and is designed for internal power supply applications.
This connector is rated for up to 15A when using 16 AWG wire, with derated currents for smaller wire gauges (13A at 18 AWG, 11A at 20 AWG, 9A at 22 AWG). The voltage rating is 600VAC/DC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C.
The header is shrouded with a 4-wall design and features a latch holder for secure mating. It has a board guide for proper alignment and a molded lance design to prevent tangled wires. The insulation is black PBT, glass-filled, with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contact material is brass with tin finish.
Mounting is through-hole with solder termination. The contact length is 3.81mm and insulation height is 10.00mm. The connector is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, with MSL 1 unlimited.
