The DF52-4S-0.8H(21) is a 4-position socket from Hirose Electric's DF52 series of 0.80mm pitch wire-to-board connectors. This surface mount, right-angle receptacle is designed for cable-to-board applications with AWG #28 to #32 wires and jacket diameters of 0.5 to 0.6 mm. The housing is black polyamide with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and contacts are tin-plated copper alloy.
Electrical ratings depend on wire size and number of positions: with AWG28, 3-5 positions, the maximum current rating is 2.0A; with AWG30, 3-5 positions, it is 1.5A; and with AWG32, 3-5 positions, it is 1.0A. The voltage rating is 100V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 10mΩ max, insulation resistance is 100MΩ min, and withstanding voltage is AC 300V for 1 minute.
The connector features a detent lock for secure mating, solder retention for reliable board attachment, and glow wire compliance. It is RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
