The DF4-5P-2C is a 5-position, single-row crimp housing from Hirose Electric's DF4 series, designed for wire-to-board connections with a 2.00mm pitch. The housing is black and made of polyamide with a UL94V-0 flammability rating. It supports crimp termination and is intended for free hanging (in-line) mounting.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 3A for AWG24 wire, 2A for AWG26, and 1A for AWG28, with a voltage rating of 250V AC. The insulation resistance is at least 1000 MΩ at 500V DC, and the withstanding voltage is 650V AC for one minute. Contact resistance is 30 mΩ maximum at 100mA.
The operating temperature range is -30 to +85°C. This housing does not include contacts; they must be ordered separately. It is suitable for applications such as notebook PCs and small business equipment, and features a board pre-fixed mechanism for easy assembly.
