The DF12-20DS-0.5V(86) is a 20-position, 2-row, 0.5mm pitch mezzanine board-to-board receptacle from Hirose Electric's DF12 series. It features a receptacle, center strip contacts design with gold-plated contacts (8.00µin) for reliable signal integrity. The connector is surface-mount with a height above board of 0.106" (2.70mm) and supports mated stacking heights of 3.5mm, 4mm, and 5mm, enabling flexible board spacing in compact designs.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 0.3A per contact, voltage rating of 50V AC, contact resistance of 50mΩ max., and insulation resistance of 500MΩ min. Withstanding voltage is 150V AC for 1 minute. The connector operates over a wide temperature range of -45 to +125°C and is rated for 50 mating cycles.
Mechanical features include a built-in board guide and solder retention for reliable placement and soldering.
