The ITT Cannon DEM-9P is a D-Sub plug connector from the D*M series, offering 9 positions arranged in 2 rows. It features male pins with solder pot contacts and is designed for panel mount applications with solder cup termination. The connector is built with a steel shell having a yellow chromate over zinc finish and a black PCT thermoplastic insulator rated UL94 V-0.
Electrically, the DEM-9P is rated for a current of 7.5 A with a maximum contact resistance of 7.5 mOhm. It can withstand 1000 VAC dielectric at sea level and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The connector supports wire gauges from 20 to 28 AWG.
Mechanically, the contacts are made of copper alloy with a gold over nickel finish on the mating area. The connector is rated for 200 mating cycles and passes a 20-hour salt spray test. The flange feature is an unthreaded housing/shell for panel mounting, with hardware including a 0.120 inch through hole.
