The ITT Cannon DE9P is a D-Sub connector assembly featuring a plug with male pins in a 9-position, 2-row configuration (shell size DE-1). Designed for panel mounting, it uses solder cup terminals suitable for 20-28 AWG wire. The contacts are made of copper alloy with a gold flash finish, ensuring reliable signal transmission with a contact resistance of 10 mΩ maximum.
This connector is rated for a current of 5 A at 105°C and can withstand a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1200 VAC at sea level. Its operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for harsh environments. The steel shell features a yellow chromate over cadmium or zinc finish, and the insulator is black thermoplastic (PCT) rated UL94 V-0.
With a minimum of 50 mating cycles and a 20-hour salt spray test rating, this connector offers robust durability for industrial applications. The DE9P is part of ITT Cannon's Original D series, a standard D-Subminiature product line.
The DE9P is rated for 5 A at 105°C and 7.5 A at 85°C.
It is designed for panel mount with solder cup termination.
It has 9 positions arranged in 2 rows.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
The solder cup terminals accept wire from 20 AWG to 28 AWG.
