DDZ9678-7

The DDZ9678-7 is a surface mount Zener diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low current applications. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 1.8V with ±5% tolerance and a power dissipation of 500mW on FR-4 PCB. The device is specified at a low test current of 50µA, making it ideal for battery-powered and portable equipment where low bias is required. The forward voltage is typically 0.9V at 10mA, and reverse leakage current is 7.5µA at 1V.

The diode is housed in a compact SOD-123 package, which is suitable for automated assembly processes. The package is molded plastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and terminals are matte tin annealed over Alloy 42 leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208. The device is totally lead-free and fully RoHS compliant, as well as halogen and antimony free. Moisture sensitivity level is Level 1 per J-STD-020, allowing unlimited storage. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C junction temperature.

With its low test current and small footprint, the DDZ9678-7 is well suited for voltage regulation, protection circuits, and reference applications in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and automotive systems (AEC-Q101 qualified versions available).
