DDREADER-42

The Delkin Devices, Inc. DDREADER-42 is a versatile universal card reader designed for efficient data transfer. It connects via USB 3.0 and offers broad compatibility with popular memory card types such as SD, microSD, CompactFlash (up to UDMA 7), xD, and Memory Stick.

This reader supports SD cards with UHS-I speeds, delivering read speeds up to 96.5 MB/s and write speeds up to 93.5 MB/s. For CompactFlash cards utilizing UDMA 7, it achieves impressive read speeds of up to 156.6 MB/s and write speeds up to 139.6 MB/s. The dedicated microSD slot operates at speeds up to 43 MB/s, though using a microSD card in an adapter within the full-size SD slot can yield better performance.

The reader features a durable grey plastic case with recessed card slots for protection. A blue LED indicator illuminates when the reader is connected to a USB port and blinks during card access. Its compact dimensions of approximately 4 x 2.25 x 0.75 inches make it suitable for various workspaces. The included 36-inch USB cable provides flexibility in placement.

Designed for ease of use, the DDREADER-42 includes alignment tracks for CompactFlash cards to ensure proper insertion. Four rubber feet on the bottom prevent the reader from sliding during operation. The product name, model number, and manufacturing origin ('Made in Taiwan') are molded into the bottom of the unit.
