The ITT Cannon DDM24W7S is a D-Sub Combo receptacle from the COMBO D series, designed for applications requiring mixed signal and coax or power contacts in a single connector shell. It offers 24 positions arranged as 17 signal contacts (size 20) and 7 empty cavities for coax or power contacts (size 8), providing flexibility for custom configurations.
The connector features a panel mount design with an unthreaded housing/shell flange and solder cup termination for reliable wire attachment. The contacts are made of copper alloy with gold flash finish (Performance Class 3), ensuring low contact resistance of 10 mOhm maximum and durability for up to 50 mating cycles.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 7.5 A per signal contact and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The steel shell with yellow chromate over zinc finish provides shielding and corrosion resistance, verified by a 20-hour salt spray test. The insulator is black thermoplastic PCT with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
