The DD1800 is a fast recovery high voltage rectifier diode manufactured by Diotec Semiconductor. It is designed for high voltage rectification at medium frequencies, with a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 18kV and a surge peak reverse voltage of 18kV. The diode offers an average forward rectified current of 20mA (R-load) and a repetitive peak forward current of 300mA (f>15Hz). The forward voltage is typically 40V at 10mA, and the reverse recovery time is 150ns.
The device is housed in an axial leaded through-hole package with UL 94V-0 case material. It has a typical weight of 0.7g and is supplied taped and reeled with 5000 pieces per 13" reel. The solder assembly conditions are 260°C for 10 seconds. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to +150°C, with a thermal resistance of 60 K/W junction-to-ambient.
This diode is suitable for applications requiring high voltage rectification with fast recovery, such as in power supplies, voltage multipliers, and other high voltage circuits. Its small signal current rating (≤200mA) makes it ideal for medium frequency operations. The high creepage and clearance distances ensure reliable performance in high voltage environments.
