The device is housed in a compact SOT223 surface mount package with gull wing leads, ideal for automated assembly. The operating junction temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, with power dissipation rated at 1 W under standard conditions (Note 5) and up to 2 W with improved thermal management (Note 6). Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 125°C/W (Note 5) and 62.5°C/W (Note 6).
