The ITT Cannon DCM8W8P is a D-Sub combo housing plug designed for male contacts, featuring an 8W8 contact arrangement with eight empty size 8 cavities for coax or power contacts. This connector housing is part of the COMBO D series, offering a mixed-layout D-Subminiature solution.
Key specifications include a current rating of 7.5 A for signal contacts, a maximum contact resistance of 10 mOhm, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level. The housing is constructed with a steel shell finished in yellow chromate over zinc, a thermoplastic PCT insulator (UL 94V-0) in black, and copper alloy contacts with gold flash finish (Performance Class 3).
Designed for panel mounting, the mounting method uses .120" (3.05mm) through holes with an unthreaded housing/shell flange.
