The DCM-37S is a high-reliability D-Sub receptacle connector from ITT Cannon, part of the D*M series. It features 37 female socket contacts arranged in two rows, with a panel mount design and unthreaded flange for secure installation. Termination is via solder cup, accommodating wire gauges from 20 AWG to 28 AWG.
Electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 7.5A per contact, contact resistance of 7.5 mOhm, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, ensuring performance in harsh environments. The shell is made of steel with a yellow chromate over zinc finish, providing corrosion resistance as verified by a 20-hour salt spray test.
