The Mini-Circuits DBTC-9-4L+ is a surface mount directional coupler with a very broadband, multi-octave frequency range from 5 MHz to 1000 MHz. It features very flat coupling with a nominal value of 9 dB ±0.5 dB and coupling flatness of ±0.5 dB across the entire frequency band. The coupler has a mainline loss of up to 2.0 dB and a VSWR of 1.2:1.

 

Designed for demanding applications, this coupler utilizes an LTCC base for temperature stability and all-welded construction for reliability. It is aqueous washable and protected by US Patents 6,140,887 & 6,784,521. The device operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and has a storage temperature range of -55°C to 100°C. Its compact 5-SMD module package is suitable for surface mounting.

 

Applications for the DBTC-9-4L+ include VHF/UHF receivers/transmitters and cellular systems. It can handle up to 1.0 W of input power depending on the frequency range.
