The DBM5W5P from ITT Cannon is a D-Subminiature connector housing from the COMBO D series, offering mixed contact layouts. It is a plug for male contacts with a 5W5 contact arrangement (one empty size 8 cavity), supporting wire gauges from 8 to 26 AWG. The housing is shielded and features a steel shell with yellow chromate plated zinc finish, providing corrosion resistance and EMI protection.
Electrical ratings include a signal contact current rating of 7.5 A and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and it passes a 20-hour salt spray test. The insulator is made of black thermoplastic (PCT) rated UL 94V-0.
