The ITT Cannon DBM17W2SN is a D-Sub Combo receptacle connector from the COMBO D series. It offers a mixed contact arrangement of 17 positions: 12 size 20 signal contacts and 5 empty size 8 cavities for coax or power contacts (contacts not included). The connector is rated for 7.5A maximum per signal contact with a contact resistance of 10 mOhm max and dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level.
Designed for rugged environments, the DBM17W2SN operates from -55°C to +125°C and withstands 20 hours of salt spray testing. The insulator is made of thermoplastic PCT with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the contacts are copper alloy with gold flash finish for reliable performance over 50 mating cycles.
The connector uses panel mount with through-hole solder termination. The shell is steel with yellow chromate plated zinc finish and is shielded for EMI protection. It conforms to shell size 3 (DB, B) layout 17W2. Wire gauge range is 8-26 AWG.
