The ITT Cannon DBM17W2S is a D-Sub Combo receptacle from the COMBO D series, designed for mixed-signal and power applications. This connector features a 17W2 contact arrangement with 12 size 20 signal contacts and 5 empty size 8 cavities for coax or power contacts (not included). The receptacle accepts wire gauges from 8 to 26 AWG and is rated for 7.5 A per signal contact.

 

Electrical performance includes a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level and a maximum contact resistance of 10 mOhm. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C, with a salt spray test rating of 20 hours. The connector is shielded and rated for 50 mating cycles.

 

The shell is made of steel with a yellow chromate over zinc finish, and the insulator is black thermoplastic PCT with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy with gold flash finish. Mounting is panel mount with through-hole mounting method using 0.120" (3.05mm) holes and solder cup termination. The flange feature is housing/shell unthreaded.
