The ITT Cannon DBM17W2P is a D-Sub combo connector from the COMBO D series. It is a plug (male) connector with 17 positions arranged as 15 signal contacts and 2 empty cavities for coax or power contacts. The connector features a panel mount design with a solder cup termination method, suitable for reliable wire connections. The shell is made of steel with a yellow chromate plated zinc finish, providing durability and corrosion resistance. The insulator is black thermoplastic (PCT) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The contacts are copper alloy with a gold flash finish, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector is shielded for EMI protection. Electrical specifications include a current rating of 7.5 A for signal contacts, a maximum contact resistance of 10 mΩ, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level.
