The DBM-25P from ITT Cannon is a D-Sub connector assembly in a plug configuration with 25 male pin contacts. The connector features a steel shell with yellow chromate over zinc plating and a black thermoplastic insulator rated UL94 V-0. It is designed for panel mount installation with solder cup termination, accommodating wire gauges from 20 to 28 AWG.
Electrically, the DBM-25P is rated for a maximum current of 7.5A per contact and has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level. Contact resistance is 7.5 mΩ maximum. The contacts are made of copper alloy with a gold over nickel finish, ensuring reliable signal transmission over up to 200 mating cycles.
This connector is suitable for industrial, data communication, and test equipment applications requiring a robust 25-position D-Sub interface. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and it passes a 20-hour salt spray test for environmental durability.
