DB25PU is a 25-position D-Sub plug manufactured by ITT Cannon as part of the ORIGINAL D series. It features male pin contacts arranged in 2 rows and a 3 (DB, B) shell size.
The connector is rated for 7.5 A at 85°C and 5 A at 105°C, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1200 VAC and contact resistance of 10 milliohm maximum. It accepts 20-28 AWG wire and is rated for 50 mating cycles.
Contacts are gold flash plated over copper alloy for signal integrity. The insulator is thermoplastic PCT rated UL94 V-0. The steel shell has a yellow chromate plating over zinc, passing a 20-hour salt spray test.
The plug is panel mounted via a plastic bracket with 4-40 captive nut. Termination is through solder pot contacts. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +125°C.
