The DAM3W3SN is a COMBO D-Sub receptacle housing designed for female contacts. It features a 3W3 contact arrangement with three empty size 8 cavities intended for power contacts (contacts must be ordered separately). The housing has a steel shell with yellow chromate over zinc finish, and a black thermoplastic insulator (PCT, UL 94V-0 rated).
Mechanically, it supports a free hanging (in-line) mounting type with a 0.120 inch (3.05 mm) through-hole mounting method. The flange feature is housing/shell unthreaded. Wire gauge range is 8-26 AWG.
Electrically, the signal contacts are rated for a maximum current of 7.5 A. The dielectric withstanding voltage is 500 VAC minimum at sea level. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and it has passed a 20-hour salt spray test.
This housing is suitable for applications requiring mixed power and signal connections in demanding environments, such as industrial control and telecommunications equipment.
It has 3 power positions arranged as 3W3 (three empty size 8 cavities for power contacts).
Signal contacts have a maximum current rating of 7.5 A.
The minimum dielectric withstanding voltage is 500 VAC at sea level.
It is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting with a 0.120 inch (3.05 mm) through-hole method.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
The shell is made of steel with a yellow chromate over zinc finish.
The housing withstands a 20-hour salt spray test.
