The DAM-15S-F179A is a 15-position D-Sub receptacle from ITT Cannon's D*M series, designed for reliable signal connections in panel-mount applications. It features female sockets with gold over nickel plating on copper alloy contacts, ensuring low contact resistance (7.5 mOhm max) and corrosion resistance.
This connector supports wire wrap termination and accommodates AWG 20-28 wire gauge. The steel shell with tin finish provides durability, while the black thermoplastic insulator (PCT, UL94 V-0 rated) offers high temperature resistance. Rated for 200 mating cycles and 20 hours of salt spray exposure, it operates over a -55°C to +125°C temperature range.
