The output is unbuffered, contributing to its very low power consumption of just 15 μW at 3V. It also includes a reset to zero-code function upon power-up and Schmitt-trigger inputs for direct optocoupler interface.

 

The DAC8830IBDR is supplied in an 8-SOIC package, suitable for surface mounting.
