The DAC8043AFPZ is an improved, high-accuracy 12-bit multiplying digital-to-analog converter from ADI Electronics. It features a serial input, double buffering, and excellent analog performance, making it ideal for applications where PC board space is limited.
This DAC operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and consumes only 10µA from a single 5V supply, positioning it as a low-power, small-size, high-performance solution. Its improved linearity and gain error performance can reduce the need for trimming components. Separate input clock and load DAC control lines provide full user control over data loading and analog output. Serial data is clocked into the input register on the rising edge of the CLOCK pulse and loaded into the DAC register with the LD input pin.
