DAC7617EB

The DAC7617EB from Texas Instruments is a versatile quad, serial input, 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for precision applications. It features guaranteed 12-bit monotonic performance across a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

This DAC utilizes an R-2R architecture and provides a buffered voltage output. Key electrical specifications include a 12-bit resolution, 4 DAC channels, and an SPI interface for data communication. It boasts a fast settling time of 10µs to 0.012% and an integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1 LSB (max). The device operates from a single 3V to 3.6V supply and consumes a typical power of 2.4mW.

The DAC7617EB supports an external reference type and includes an asynchronous reset function that can clear registers to either mid-scale or zero-scale.
