The Texas Instruments DAC7545GLU is a low-cost, 12-bit, four-quadrant multiplying digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with input data latches. It is designed for microprocessor compatibility and features four-quadrant multiplication. The device operates on a single supply voltage ranging from 5V to 15V.
Key electrical specifications include a low gain temperature coefficient of 2ppm/°C typical, low output leakage current of 10nA maximum, and low output capacitance of 70pF maximum. The DAC7545GLU ensures monotonicity over temperature and is well-suited for battery-powered or other low-power applications, with power dissipation less than 0.5mW when used with CMOS logic inputs and a 5V supply.
This DAC is provided in a 20-SOIC package and is specified over the commercial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is a direct replacement for the AD7545 and PM-7545.
Laser-trimmed thin-film resistors and CMOS voltage switches provide true 12-bit integral and differential linearity. The input data is loaded as a 12-bit data word and flows through to the DAC when chip select (CS) and write (WR) pins are at logic low.
The DAC7545GLU has a resolution of 12 bits.
The DAC7545GLU operates on a single supply voltage from 5V to 15V.
The DAC7545GLU is supplied in a 20-SOIC package.
The DAC7545GLU is specified for operation between -40°C and +85°C.
