The Texas Instruments DAC5687MPZPEP is an Enhanced Product, dual-channel, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter capable of 500 MSPS sampling rates. It features selectable 1x-8x interpolation, an on-chip PLL/VCO clock multiplier, and full IQ compensation including offset, gain, and phase.
This DAC offers flexible input options, including FIFO with latch, even/odd multiplexed input, and single-port demultiplexed input. It also includes a complex mixer with a 32-bit Numerically Controlled Oscillator (NCO) and a fixed-frequency mixer. The device supports 1.8V or 3.3V I/O voltage and has an on-chip 1.2V reference. The output is differential and scalable from 2 mA to 20 mA.
Designed for high-performance applications, the DAC5687MPZPEP boasts an 81 dBc Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR) at 30.72 MHz and 72 dBc ACLR at 153.6 MHz for WCDMA TM1. It is pin-compatible with the DAC5686.
The DAC5687MPZPEP is housed in a 100-pin HTQFP package and operates within an extended temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. Its lead finish is NiPdAu, and it has an MSL rating of Level-3.
