The D5V0S1U2WS-7 is a one-channel unidirectional TVS diode from Diodes Incorporated designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in compact electronic equipment. It provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 for both air and contact discharge at ±30kV.
The device has a maximum reverse working voltage of 5.5V and a breakdown voltage range of 6.2V to 7.4V at 1mA. Maximum clamping voltage is 16V. Under an 8/20μs transient, the device handles 70A peak pulse current and 1000W peak pulse power. Typical capacitance is 950pF at 1MHz, and maximum reverse leakage current is 3μA at 5.5V.
The TVS diode is supplied in a SOD323 (SC-76) surface-mount package with matte tin finish. It is rated for 350mW power dissipation and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The part is lead-free, RoHS3 compliant, halogen- and antimony-free, and rated MSL 1 per J-STD-020.
