The D5V0Q1B2CSP-7 from Diodes Incorporated is a low capacitance bidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge. It has a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 5.5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0V. Typical clamping voltage is 7.2V at 1A and 8.4V at 3A with an 8/20µs pulse. The device handles 3A peak pulse current and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD requirements with ±14kV contact and ±15kV air discharge immunity.
The diode provides one bidirectional protection channel with low typical input capacitance of 5.5pF at 1MHz. It is housed in an ultra-small X2-DSN0603-2 chip scale package measuring 0.600 x 0.300 x 0.300mm, with NiAu bump terminals for surface mount assembly. The package weighs approximately 0.0002 grams and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 10,000 pieces per reel. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, with 250mW power dissipation.
