The D5V0P1B2LP-7B is a low capacitance bidirectional TVS diode designed by Diodes Incorporated to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 with ±17kV air discharge and ±15kV contact discharge ratings.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 5.5V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 6V, and a typical clamping voltage of 13V. The device can handle a peak pulse current of 4A (8/20µs waveform) and exhibits a typical capacitance of only 8pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines. Maximum leakage current is 100nA at 5.5V.
The device is housed in an X1-DFN1006-2 (0402 metric) surface-mount package with a maximum height of 0.53mm and an ultra-small PCB footprint area of 1.08 x 0.68mm. It supports an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and dissipates up to 250mW.
