Electrical performance includes a return loss of 20 dB minimum at 1 GHz and 17 dB minimum at 2 GHz, with typical insertion loss of 0.1 dB at 1 GHz. The connector provides typical near-end crosstalk of 30 dB and far-end crosstalk of 35 dB, with a typical skew of 5 psec between signal contacts. It is rated for 1.5 A DC current and 100 V rms working voltage.

 

Mechanically, the plug features a right angle through hole mounting with solder termination for both signal and shield contacts. The housing is blue (Code C) and made of HTN, with a LCP dielectric. The center contact is spring bronze with gold and tin plating, and the outer contact is brass with nickel and tin plating. It supports a minimum of 25 mating cycles with a maximum engagement force of 30 N and a minimum disengagement force of 5 N. The latch retention force is 110 N minimum.

 

The connector is packaged in tape and reel with 200 pieces per reel and weighs 6.84 g. It is RoHS compliant and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
