The Rosenberger D4S20D-40MA5-A is an HSD Fakra quadraxial plug designed for PCB mounting. It belongs to the D4S20D series and features a right angle, through hole configuration with solder termination. The connector uses Code A keying for polarization and a latch lock fastening mechanism.
Electrically, it supports differential signaling with 100 Ohm impedance from DC to 2 GHz. Return loss is a minimum of 20 dB up to 1 GHz and 17 dB up to 2 GHz, with insertion loss at 1 GHz of 0.1 dB or less. Mechanically, the housing is black PA 6T/66, center contact is spring bronze with gold plating, and outer contact is brass with nickel and tin plating. Minimum mating cycles is 25, with engagement force ≤30 N and retention force latch ≥110 N.
