The Rosenberger D4S12H-40MA5-B is a high-speed data (HSD) straight plug connector designed for PCB mounting. It features a male pin contact and supports HSD, Fakra, and Quadraxial connector styles. The connector is rated for 100Ω differential impedance and operates from DC to 2.0 GHz, making it suitable for high-speed data transmission in automotive and industrial applications.
Electrical performance includes return loss of at least 20 dB at 1 GHz and 17 dB at 2 GHz, insertion loss of no more than 0.1 dB at 1 GHz, and near-end crosstalk below 30 dB. The connector handles up to 1.5 A DC current and a working voltage of 100 V rms.
Mechanically, the connector uses through hole mounting with solder termination for both signal and shield. The housing is white PA 6T/66, with an LCP dielectric. The interface features a latch lock fastening, and the connector is keyed with Code B to prevent mismating. It is rated for at least 25 mating cycles, with engagement force up to 30 N and disengagement force at least 5 N.
The connector operates over -40°C to +105°C and complies with RoHS (2002/95/EC). It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 150 pieces.
