The D4025L is a standard recovery silicon rectifier diode from Littelfuse Inc., part of the Dxx25L series. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 15.9A at a case temperature of 80°C. The device can handle a peak non-repetitive surge current of 350A at 60Hz and has a typical reverse recovery time of 4µs. The forward voltage drop is a maximum of 1.6V at a test current of 50A.
The diode features a glass-passivated junction for reliability and is housed in a TO-220-3 isolated tab package, which allows for easy heat sinking and enables common anode or common cathode configurations. The mounting type is through hole. Typical applications include DC phase control for motor loads, AC to DC solid-state switches in industrial power tools, exercise equipment, white goods, and commercial appliances.
