The Harwin D01-9973242 is a 32 position single row SIP (Single Inline Package) IC socket designed for through hole mounting. It features a 2.54mm (0.1 inch) pitch and accepts mating pins with a diameter of 0.40 to 0.56mm. The socket uses machined beryllium copper contacts with a gold finish on the mating area and a tin finish on the termination area, ensuring reliable electrical connections and solderability.
This socket is housed in a glass-filled PCT (Polycyclohexylenedimethylene Terephthalate) thermoplastic, providing good mechanical strength and thermal stability. It is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. Electrically, it can handle up to 3A per contact when a single contact is loaded at 25°C ambient, and up to 1.5A per contact when all contacts are loaded at the same temperature. The maximum contact resistance is 10 milliohms initially, and the insulation resistance is at least 10,000 megohms.
