The Infineon CYPD3177-24LQXQ is a highly integrated, pre-programmed USB Type-C port controller. It is designed for electronic devices that use legacy barrel connectors or USB micro-B connectors for power, such as drones, smart speakers, and power tools.
This controller complies with the latest USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (PD) standards, enabling easy conversion of devices to USB-C power. It requires few external components and no firmware development. The CYPD3177-24LQXQ integrates a USB Type-C transceiver, USB PD policy manager, load switch controller with soft start, termination resistors, and system-level ESD protection.
