The Infineon CY7C65213A-28PVXI is a USB 2.0 certified, Full-Speed bridge controller designed for seamless USB to UART communication. It supports various communication driver classes, including CDC and PHDC, and features battery charger detection compliant with USB Battery Charging Specification Rev. 1.2.

This controller provides a single-channel configurable UART interface capable of data rates up to 3 Mbps. It includes 256-byte transmit and receive buffers and supports flexible data formats with 7 or 8 data bits, 1 or 2 stop bits, and various parity options. Flow control is supported using CTS, RTS, DTR, and DSR signals, and it can also handle UART break signals. The CY7C65213A variant specifically supports RS232, RS422, and RS485 interfaces.
