CY2308SXI-1T

The Infineon Technologies CY2308SXI-1T is a 3.3V Zero Delay Buffer, part of the CY2308 family, designed to distribute high-speed clocks in demanding applications. It features an on-chip PLL that locks to the input clock, providing zero input-to-output propagation delay.

This buffer supports an operating frequency range of 10 MHz to 133 MHz and operates from 3V to 3.6V. It offers a 1:8 output ratio with LVCMOS/LVTTL inputs and LVCMOS outputs. Key electrical characteristics include typical cycle-to-cycle jitter of 75 ps at 15 pF and 66 MHz, input-to-output skew less than 250 ps, and output-to-output skew less than 200 ps.

The CY2308SXI-1T is housed in a 16-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface-mount package. It operates within an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device is suitable for applications requiring precise clock synchronization and distribution.

This buffer has two banks of four outputs, which can be three-stated by select inputs. The PLL enters a power-down state when there are no rising edges on the REF input, reducing current draw to less than 25µA.
