The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, specifically the CX10S model, is a 1000W modular power supply designed for fanless operation. This U-channel unit measures 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm and provides 100% natural convection cooling, eliminating acoustic noise and vibrations. It is suitable for sensitive scientific, medical, and industrial applications.
Key features include 1000W output power with 93% efficiency, an MTBF exceeding 2,900,000 hours, and high-input surge protection. The power supply supports analog and digital communications via PMBus™ for monitoring and control. It is safety approved for operation up to 5000 m altitude.
Compliance includes IEC60601-1 3rd edition, IEC60601-1-2 4th edition (EMC) for medical applications, and IEC60950, IEC62368-1, and SEMI F47* for industrial use. Defense and aerospace applications are supported with MIL-STD-810G compliance. The unit is designed for chassis mounting.
