The Advanced Energy CoolX®1000 series, specifically the CX10S model, offers a 1000W fanless modular power supply solution. Packaged in a compact U-channel design measuring 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, it provides high power output without the need for fan or base plate cooling, making it ideal for noise-sensitive environments.

This power supply boasts 93% efficiency and supports universal input. It features multiple outputs including 5V, 12V, 24V, and 48V, with a primary 5V output capable of 15A. The CX10S is designed for reliability with an MTBF greater than 2,900,000 hours and high-input surge protection up to 4 kV line to PE.

Compliance includes IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2, IEC60950-1, and IEC62368-1, making it suitable for both ITE (Commercial) and Medical applications. It also meets SEMI F47 standards at higher input voltages and MIL-STD-810G for defense/aero use cases. The unit supports PMBus™ for monitoring and control, offering enhanced flexibility for system designers.

Mounting is via chassis mount, and the unit operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. Its fanless design eliminates acoustic noise and vibrations, beneficial for scientific, medical, and other sensitive applications.
